Who thought my one second favorite band would make my ears bleed?!

Hey guys, a lot of stuff has happened since I last blogged, so I'll summarize.

Relient K concert with Karen: AWE. SOME. NESS. It was amazing. We got to meet House of Heroes (my new 3rd fav band) they're so cool. And of course, we met Matty T. That was so cool. I got my RT picture. :)

Twilight: Yes I saw Twilight and I liked it, a lot more than I thought I would.

Work Party: Meh it was....meh. I had a good time I guess with Sammi and John but overall it was just okay.

Okay yeah. Tomorrow is the last show choir/signing practice till the concert! :O And the play I'm in, "A Rented Christmas," the performance is tomorrow! :O How's that for a busy weekend?

As for the title, Family Force 5 released a new video for their song "Radiator" recently. Now you have to understand, their CD "Business Up Front, Party in the Back" was my addiction for something crazy like 4 months. I listened to NOTHING ELSE. So naturally, I took the decision to step back from their music because of my addiction. So naturally when they released a new music video, I was curious and watched it. Now as far as the video was concerned, it was cheesy in every sense of the word. Neon lights, rising up from the floor in green smoke, the whole shabang. The music however, was ear-bleedingly awful. I was shocked, cause I had loved these guys. This song, (I can't say the same for the rest of their new album "Dance or Die" cause I haven't heard it yet) was seriously terrible. I couldn't hardly stand it.

So yeah I'm sad.

The state of confusion (aka New Jersey)

Hey guys, I haven't blogged in a while.

So yeah, you may have heard something like I won tickets to see Switchfoot on the Music Builds Tour, and yes, the rumors are true. Let me explain,...

Jesus Freak Hideout (www.jesusfreakhideout.com) currently has a contest up where they are giving away two free tickets for everyone of the remaining "Music Buids Tour" dates. So I entered the contest for the New Jersey date, thinking, "Oh yeah. I probably won't win. If I do, I'll find a way to get there." blah blah blah

Okay long story short, I won. I freaked out. And by some miracle, my dad agreed to drive me to New Jersey. I was sooooo excited, that is, until we got lost.

New Jersey has the smallest little street signs and a 5-way intersection like every two miles. We got so lost, I was freaking out to my mom on my cell and I was unsure at one point that we were gonna find this place period. Thankfully, I saw a small sign no bigger than one foot long that said "Box Office" and it pointed right. If I hadn't saw that, we probably would've missed part of the show.

We picked up our tickets at the Will-Call window, and to my surprise, we had seats inside the ampitheatre. This place was a lot like SPAC except smaller. It was a great view. We were right in the middle and everything.

As I went to the merch table, I saw something unusual. All this merch for the band "Red." And I'm thinking, "Weird. Red's not on the Music Builds Tour." Turns out, they were doing the pre-show, and my advice, DONT SEE THEM LIVE. EVER. Unless you're into screamo. It was awful. I held my ears.

Jars of Clay was, meh, decent. I'm not really a big JOC fan. Robert Randolph, incredible. In the middle of their set, everyone in their band got up and switched instruments. And all played with the same quality! They were soooo awesome!

Then the main event, for me anyway, Switchfoot. I swear, 80% of the crowd was just there for Switchfoot. A lot of people got up and left after their set. I felt bad for Third Day.

Switchfoot was beyond incredible live. This was their setlist:

Stars
Oh! Gravity
Crazy in Love/Gone
This Is Your life
American Dream
We Are One Tonight/ Shadow Proves the Sunshine
On Fire
Awakening
Dare You to Move
Meant to Live
(thanks www.landofbrokenhearts.com)

The ones where there's a slash means it's a mashup (in and out of both songs). It was so great, but wayyy too short. I mean come on, 10 songs?! Sheesh.

Third Day was up next, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. They put on a REALLY great show. Mac Powell was sooo funny too.

But anyway, I suppose the point of this blog is, don't go to New Jersey. Ever. It's not a very nice place.

Leona Lewis is....emo?!

Hey guys, haven't updated in forever. Yeah, but that's the way it normally is, huh?

School has started again, ugh. I have a World Literature Test to finish from last year, double ugh. Goodbye to Summer 2008. It was awesome, amazing, spifftacular (my new word, you like?), etc.

I went to Great Escape with the Snoopians. Well, actually, a lot of the Snoopians couldn't come, so it was just me, Becka, Jenson, Luke, John, Hannah, Sam L., and Lydia. It was still a wicked good time though. I conquered my fear of rollercoasters. Never knew I had a fear of rollercoasters? Well, I'll tell you the story...

*flash back mode* jk

When I was 8, I went on a rollercoaster at Worlds of Fun called The Orient Express *thunder*. I remember being so excited I was finally 48 inches tall and I could ride it. Long story short, it traumatized me for life.

*back to real life*

So John was like "Come on! You have to conquer your fears! Once you go on one, you'll love it, then you'll wanna go on another, and another,...." I was like "Yeah right." I figured I'd go on the Comet to say I conquered my fear and that was it. No Steaming....Donut, No Boomerang, and absolutely NO TORNADO! That was one ride I looked at pictures of and was like No way.

Long story short, heres my ride tally:

Comet: 3 times
Steaming...Donut: 2 times
Boomerang: 2 times
Mega Wedgie: 1 time (it was dumb)
Tornado:.....7 TIMES

Yeah the one ride I said I wouldn't go on I went on 7 times. Who knew, John was right.

Oh yeah, and the reason for the title of this blog. While Sam and Lydia were in the bathroom, "Bleeding Love" came on, and John started mocking singing it while pretending to cut his wrists. It was really funny.

Yeah well, a lot more happened, but it would take waaaay too much space to list it all.

Wow I think I'm getting lazy...

Here I am again, after 3 very short months of summer vacation, I'm back at school, er home.
Algebra II is still no picnic but in the least bit, or maybe in a subtle sense, I'm almost enjoying it. Maybe this is something one of my smart friends have rubbed off on me. If so, thank you. It is helping me survive math.

Snoopy!!! is still over and to be honest, I thought I'd be over it by now. Everytime a song off the Snoopy!!! soundtrack comes up on my iPod, I almost cry. It's so sad. And yes I do have musical songs on my iPod. There is nothing wrong with that.

Tomorrow is the eventful Great Escape day, and I *deep breath* am going on a rollercoaster. I have very afraid of rollercoasters ever since I first went on one I was 7 (or 8 I don't remember) and it traumatized me. John called me the other day and was like "Come on, it's TOO MUCH FUNN! You HAVE to go on a rollercoaster!" So if all else fails, he'll probably make me. Him, Luke and Jenson. Yes don't you feel sorry for me now.

I really like that ship that swings back and forth. I love the rush you feel as you surge down toward the ground if you're on the VERY end of the boat you're practically hanging upside-down! And yet I hate rollercoasters. Go Figure!

Lots of stuff...wow

HEY PEEPS! I'm finally back from ATC. Since it would take an entire novel to tell all that happened, I will summerize it in three songs.

Track 1: Awakening - Switchfoot

Track 2: Baptize My Mind - Jon Foreman

Track 3: Burn Out Bright - Switchfoot

Go listen to those three songs and you'll be pretty much informed. :)

Another thing, offering works. Period. I have proof. Here's my story.

I started giving a bunch of offering at ATC and I was like, "Okay I'm gonna believe for God to bless me." So what did he do?

Get me lots of money? Nope.

Get me a ticket to Soulfest? Not exactly.

He put in the mind of Relient K's tour manager to say, "Yeah you should go to Albany, NY on your tour."

So yeah, Relient K is coming here. I bought tix last night. I'm mad excited. For deets if you wanna go with me, ask about it! I will email you deets.

Btw, if you're under 16 you can't go. :(
Sorry, Northern Lights rules.

It's been so long...since I last blogged.

Hey peeps! As you know, last Monday was my birthday. The party was sooo much fun, and I'm very glad cause I was mad scared basically the night before that it would flop. Mom and Dad surprised me by getting local cover band "In Theaters Everywhere" to come and perform at my party. It was amazing. Their setlist was:

(not in right order)
Chaos - MuteMath
Find Me Tonight - Everyday Sunday
Never Going Back to Ok - The Afters
Amazing Because it is - The Almost (oh yes rosa and kathy it was amazing)
We Need Each Other - Sanctus Real
Crazy Beautiful - Chasen
Whatever You're Doing - Sanctus Real

It was bunchies of fun. I knew every single song besides the MuteMath one. Which then prompted John to say, "I bow to your smarticalness oh music guru." lol

The whipped cream toss was also awesome, even though everyone went home smelling like cheese. It was still amazing though.

And as some of you know, *sob* I'm leaving tonight/early tomorrow morning for Awakening Teen Camp in Missouri. I will be gone for 5 weeks! Be sure to email me at awakening@ihop.org! Just put my full name (no middle name, unless you want to, it's Christine) in the subject line. I will miss you all dearly.

Random other fact, I got a Nancy Drew computer game. It's sooo awesome and the graphics are killer, but I seem to have trouble figuring it out though. Now I'm working on putting all the dolls ing the right order for their enitials(sp?) to spell out "Chaussettes Chatoyantes." Yeah it's difficult. Especially when you don't know the doll's names!

Oh well. I'll figure it out.

Sam's Grad Party, Leavin soon, and DOD!!!!

Hey Peeps!

Recently I went to Sam's Grad Party! Well, it wasn't just Sam's Grad Party. It was Serene's and Breeana's also, but I don't talk to them that much. It was awesome because we got to carpool with the Bossalini's again! They are so much fun! We talked about um......Fred, and.......wow the subject changed many times. It was quite random but it is alright because we just have many thoughts. It's good for the brain.

We went swimming in 65 degree water. In case you don't know, that's mad cold. Once you got out of the water, your legs were litterally numb. Scary stuff, but we had basically the best splash fight ever. Sorry to anyone who missed out on it. (No offence to her, but Becka was sooooo fun to splash cause everytime you splashed her she made noises like "AHH!" "OOO!" "OHH!" lol it was astounding)

And I LEARNED HOW TO SKIP STONES!!!!! It was astounding. I don't remember if I taught myself or if John or Luke showed me. Either way, I finally figured it out and it was astounding. Cept for the fact John kept stealing my rocks. :P

Yep, and sadly yes, I'm leaving soon for Kansas City MO, but DONT LISTEN TO MY SIS! SHE IS A LIAR WHEN SHE SAYS KC HAS NOTHING GOOD! I could give you a list of a ton of good things KC, MO has!

Gates BBQ
The International House of Prayer (duh)
All the good bands come there....
Steak and Shake
BBQ in general
Steak
Fried Chicken
Church's Chicken
BBQ
Some of our extended fam lives out there
BBQ
Science City (such a fun place!)
Did I mention BBQ?

So yeah. It'll be a good time, but I will miss y'all! (yes I just said y'all burn)

AND for all of you who have been wondering what the heck DOD stands for this whole blog, it stands for Dance or Die EP - Family Force 5 released yesterday! WOOOT! Two words: Buy it.

Prom and Prince Caspian (fun times)

Hey peeps! I'm back from prom. It was sooooooooooo much funn! The food was really good and besides the fact my dress began to malfunction a little near the end of prom, it was an awesome time. Note to the Future though: when they say put a celebrity name on a sticky note, don't put Soul Glow Activatur. Because like no one knew who he was. haha (rosa and kathy both know though lol)

THENNNNNNNN I went and saw Prince Caspian with Lydia, her friends Margret and Geoff, Jennifer, Jenson, Jeff, and.......*groans loudly*.......Hannah.

Okay I just need to vent for a sec. You don't have to read this upcoming paragraph.

Omigoodness Hannah is so loud and obnoxious! She is one of the most annoying people I've ever met! She will NEVER shut up! She's in love with Jenson and is EXTRA loud and obnoxious around him. AND the only reason she was even there is cause she invited herself. I mean, how rude can you get?! And she thinks she's like the hottest thing on the face of the earth, it's just ridiculous.

I could go on, but I should stop.

Before the movie we went into this Chinese Store cause.......I don't know....Cause Jenson and Geoff wanted to look at the swords or something. Anyway, Hannah was being sooooo loud, I was like "Dude stop or some Chinese people are probably gonna jump out of the walls with swords and attack us!" *cue Jenson laughing histarically* Because Jenson laughed, Hannah laughed with much gusto. Oh how she is ever so taxing on my sanity.

The movie itself was amazing though. Except for the thing between Caspian and Susan, I mean COME ON! That's NOT supposed to happen! Margret even told me in the books Prince Caspian is like 14. Dude in this movie he looked, 25. I mean it shouldn't work. Cause Susan is like 1300 years older. haha

And yes, the Switchfoot song. It was a different version than the one of the soundtrack and the one on Air 1. The members of the Switchfoot Message Boards have concluded there are 3 different versions. But I don't care, it's still Switchfoot.

Peace out "amigo-gos."

Let's Go To The Movies!

I've decided to use this blog entry to talk about some movies I've recently seen/am going to see very soon.

First of all, the movie "Little Manhattan." If you can read what the picture/cover says, it says "Romantic Comedy for the Whole Family." and "One of the sweetest, most touching films you're likely to see." Okay, first of all, they lie. All the comedy was crude humor, not appropriate for little kids. Secondly it wasn't touching at all. If two 10 year olds falling in love is touching, then what is this world coming to? I found it extremely weird from start to finish. When I was ten, I thought boys were gross and they had cooties. It was just not right at all. Don't see it, at all. It's a terrible waste of about two hours.

One movie I would love to recommend is not a movie you will find at Blockbuster. Yes indeed my friends, this movie is called "Attack of the Moon Goons" and it was made by my good friend Jenson. He told me he is going to upload it here: www.godtube.com/moongoon. If you click that link and he hasn't uploaded it yet, go ahead and watch "Large Talons", another funny one. Okay first of all, this movie is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long while. Seriously, Hollywood doesn't seem to be churning out very many funny movies anymore. This was really funny. And I mean laugh out loud funny. It might not be that funny to you, maybe cause I have a different sense of humor or cause I had like two cups of soda and a ton of Rainbow Twizzlers before watching it. Maybe both. Who knows.

One movie I cannot wait to see and I'm sure you can't wait to see either is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. SOO EXCITED! I'm going to see it on May 18th with Lydia. I'm so excited. It looks very good, except for one thing. There have been rumors that Susan and Caspian will have a thing in this movie. I hope not. It would ruin the story.

Well that is all for now.

These are the days, these are the moments that pass us by...

Well it is official friends, the play is done and over. I have cried my tears and am still going through the healing process, but I think I'm going to make it through. Maybe.

The play was some good times, and I do mean good times. It was absolutly amazing from start to finish and I made tons of new friends and got closer to people that were already my friends. The worshipping in the lounge during practice, the hour talks about just about nothing, the rainbow twizzlers. Ah the rainbow twizzlers.

For you to understand the Rainbow twizzlers, I'll have to go back and tell the story. :)

When I went to a private Christian school for testing, little did I know that my friends Luke and John were testing also and John was in the same class as me. So when the testing was over, the teacher brought in a bunch of snacks like brownies and some twizzlers. The teacher brought in two kinds of twizzlers: Cinnamon and Rainbow (what ever happened to NORMAL twizzlers? Seriously....) Since John wouldn't eat the brownies (too much trans fat or something, I had like 3) he had both of the twizzlers. He tried the Rainbow twizzlers and was like "Angela you should try these!" So I did and they were the nastiest things ever. Seriously. They tasted like a plastic straw with a touch of fruit flavoring. But yet I ended up eating the rest of it, but I didn't know why. It's....unnatural! John ate like 3 cause he said they were mad addicting.

So we ride home with Luke, John and Samantha from Play Practice and what does John have but a whole bag of Rainbow Twizzlers. Despite the nastiness, me and John devoured the whole bag. And I discovered, they are so good, but still so nasty. It's scary I tell you scary.

Now that you're totally bored on the topic of Rainbow Twizzlers I'll talk about something else.

Tomorrow is the Coffee House at our church! YAY! I don't know if the band is any good though, never heard them. ANNDDDD May 18th I'm going to see Prince Caspian! SO EXCITED! ANDD *drumroll* It's got a Switchfoot song in it!

GASP! YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THE SONG YET?! Go click on this link right now, if not sooner. http://caspian.interlinc-online.com/archive/?p=15&id=49de77cada6633b87b46a9eee9853356

The Skillet Concert (AHMAZIN)

So yeah, I went to the concert. I will tell the whole story.

You might wanna sit down, this might take a while.

Okay so I got there exactly 3 hours early, or so I thought. I found out that the doors ACTUALLY opened at 6 and not 7. So I didn't have to wait/study for my reading test as long as I had thought. It was great. I met these two really nice girls cause my friends hadn't shown up yet, so I hung out with them while I was in line.

They let us in and I bought a TFK shirt (it said "I ♥ RAWK" its awesome), a Skillet poster and a cookie (they had a coffee shop there). When we were let in, I was very happy to be right up near the stage, front and center. The room was way smaller than I thought it would be and there was less than 700 people there. Pretty small crowd considering it was a sold out tour.

So sounds pretty dandy right? Except for the fact the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacute the building. As we were evacuting I was thinking, "Oh gosh, how am I gonna get back to the front now?" And sure enough, as soon as they were sure there was no fire, all the people pushed back in through the door, leaving my petite 5.2 self in the dust. I did get back in, one person away from the stage, sandwiched between like 5 people. I was so mad. I was thinking, "Great! This concert is gonna suck now!" Luckily, a very nice man let me back up front, cause he said it was only fair cause I was up there before. I was so thankful for that guy. I wish I knew his name so I could thank him.

There was also a very nice security guy named Phil. I have a pic of him somewhere. I might post it later.

When the show finally started, to my surprise, Decypher Down took the stage. Oh gosh I know I spelled that wrong. Anyway, that lead singer, yeah, he didn't only sweat on me. He showered me with sweat. I know, I know, he wets his hair before he comes on stage. But a lot of it was sweat cause I smelt of sweat when I came home and not all of it was mine. But musically, they rocked. I only knew one of the songs they did (The Fight), but it was awesome.

Then.......Thousand Foot Krutch came on. Okay, first of all, their intro thing, with the flag, was pretty cool. There's a vid of it on Facebook. Second, when Trevor did "Puppet", I was like "Oh yeah, he's stilllllll got it." That's summing it up in a couple sentences. Summing it up in two words, it rawked.

And of course, Skillet. I took like 50 pictures (no exaggerating) of John Cooper for Krista. The setlist was amazing. It included my favorite Skillet song, Those Nights. What made my favorite song even better was John touched my hand during that song from the stage. Yeah it was sweaty and gross, yet it was still awesome. It was hard to describe. Rosa will understand.

THENNNNNNNNN the nice security guy named Phil gave me Skillet's setlist. I was like "Can I please have the setlist?" and he was like "Sure." and snatched it off the stage for me (after the show of course duhhh)

Overall it was amazing. Except for this snotty girl and her boyfriend with her snotface 11-year-old brother. They were shoving me like woah, and bent up my Skillet poster grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Right now, my neck is no longer sore from headbanging and I get to see everyone in the play again tomorrow! YAY!

I want some nachos.

Get away from me you freaky stalker!!!

Yeah so, I went to work today (Karen already knows this) and I met this new guy named Zach. At first I thought "Okay, he's pretty weird, but I will be friendly to him cause it's the right thing to do." No problems right? WRONG!!! So it turns out he lives in my mobile home park. So he was like "Where do you live?" And me, not wanting to hurt his feelings, told him. I know what you're thinking, this spells trouble. Oh but wait, it gets better. He gave me his number. I was like "DUDE OMIGOSH I JUST MET YOU TODAY!!!!" Okay, I didn't really say that but I wanted to.

So I made some lame excuse like I never talk on the phone, so he gave me his email and AIM. (I ended up giving them to a co-worker, telling her to prank phone call him) So, I get home from work, tell my dad all this, and he pretty much just rolled his eyes and said "Oh well, what's done is done." BUT THEN.......

Once I'm home from work, who shows up at my door but Zach, wanting to hang out or something. My dad made up the excuse that I just got home and it wasn't a good time.

Now I've decided, I've been nice WAY too long! This kid is a friggin stalker and I'm gonna tell him how I really feel.

Hmm....I'll say something like this....

Dude, I'm usually not very blunt with people but in this case I need to be blunt. I have absolutly no interest in a relationship with you whatsoever. Seriously just leave me alone, don't IM me, don't come to my house and DON'T CALL!!! Get away from me you freaky stalker!

Okay maybe not that last sentence but the rest of it.

"Okay then Randy Random..." "RanDOME!!!"

Hello. I have not updated in a long time. I'm sorry.

Play practice today was awesome as usual. This play is gonna be absolutly amazing. I really don't know what I'm gonna do with my life when it ends. I'm gonna need therapy or something.

I've made a ton of friends during this play. I've gotten to know some people I already knew better, and I've met a ton of new people. One thing I love about the Snoopy cast is that all the snotty people who are no fun didn't audition, so we have the funnest cast ever! P.S The quote in the title of this blog entry is from Jeff. He said his name for the play was going to be Randy Randome. So I started calling him Randy Random and he kept correcting me saying it was "Randome." (ran-dome) Yes there's a ton of silly people in this play too. I won't say any names. *cough* Jenson *cough* Destiny *cough*

Okay enough about the play. I need to talk about something else.

Yeah, a couple in my church is getting married on 4/12. I'm so jealous. Cause 412 is my favorite number. Anyone who knows why gets a cookie. *waves warm cookie in your face*

13 days till I see Skillet with TFK live! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Verizon sucks, period.

Hey peeps, why I haven't been online in so long is cause of......yep you guessed it, Verizon. We were supposed to be getting High Speed DSL but we weren't so my Mom called and told them we weren't getting it. But while they were trying to upgrade us, they accidently miswired something and we got no internet for a week. As in, none. Which is really bad for me cause Algebra II is on the internet. But thankfully, 7 days and 5 Verizon techs later, our internet is back and faster than ever.

In other news, my concert withdrawl is gone. :) Two concerts coming up. Skillet in April with TFK and.................The Jonas Brothers in August. Yeppers, we joined their stupid fanclub just so we could get presale tickets, and we officially have two lawn tickets at SPAC. YAY!

I work tonight. I'm kinda freaked out cause something pretty bad happened at work last week. I don't wanna talk about it.

Well, that added some excitement to my life...

Hey peeps. Lately, my life has just been pretty boring. Nothing really coming up, nothing really to look forward to. Actually not really. On the contrary, I have something going every night this week whether its play rehersal, work or youth group. I'm so busy yet my life is like blah.

Anyways, to the excitement that came up recently. This morning actually. So I was checking Jesus Freak Hideout (www.jesusfreakhideout.com) for news, and I happened to see that Skillet was launching the Comatose Tour. And.....they are coming to Northway Church! Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. In fact, it's only been posted on JFH so far, but it will probably be up on Skillet's myspace later today. Oh but wait, it gets better...

They are coming with flippin TFK!!!!! Omigosh, TFK is one my favorite bands! I saw them with Tobymac and they are so nice!

The concert is on April 17th. That's good, it's a Thursday night. No play rehersal, just work. And I have enough time to ask off. I'm so excited now.

If you wanna come with me, tell me! We should so go together!

Expect the Impossible, Les Miserables, and things like BBQ Chicken

Ello mate.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. A WHOLE bunch of stuff has happened. So this may be a long post. Make sure you have a few minutes before you read on.

You have a minute? Good.

Expect the Impossibe is Stellar Kart's new album. Omigosh, if you don't already own it you need to get it. It's SOOO good. If you don't know who Stellar Kart is, they are sorta like Hawk Nelson and/or Relient K. I think I have some Stellar Kart songs in my little player thinger. Listen to them, they are really good.

Les Miserables, I've always had sooo many people tell me that was such a good movie. Now I know, IT'S AN AMAZING MOVIE!!!! Laura didn't like me during it though, lol. Don't worry Laura next time I'll sit next to Val.

Also, bbq Chicken. Yeah, that's what we made for the Youth Cafe this Sunday. BBQ Chicken Sandwiches. It stunk cause they smelled so good, and we would get "the extras." Thanks to our lovely associate pastor's wife, there were no extras, and I never got a BBQ chicken sandwich. Thankfully, Nichole gave me a bite of hers. Thank you Nichole!

Also, my teeth hurt really bad. I had 3 saltine crackers for breakfast. What can I say, I love my orthodonist.

The name of the game is...SETLIST SUDOKU!!!

For the first time, I actually am trying to play Setlist Sudoku. And for the record, it's really stinkin hard!!! And the one I have is like....Easy #1 or something. Oh well, I guess Jon will remain the master/creator of Setlist Sudoku.

American Idol tonight. OMIGOSH!! That David Archuleta kid, he did SO good. Randy even said "best vocal performance EVER on American Idol!" Dude, I think it's gonna get down to two dudes this year, cause the guy's vocals are way better than the girls this year. David Cook, he rocks, like majorly. I am rooting for him. He's awesome.

So yeah, the girls are tomorrow night. I don't know which girl I'm rooting for yet though.

I got to go! My mom is calling me to do the dishes!

"That wasn't very polite of you..."

Yes, the title of this blog is word for word what some mean lady told me at McDonalds.

Okay it's not like I threw fries at her or something! My manager was yelling at someone right behind me, so these people were yelling and I couldn't hear what the heck this lady ordered. So I was like "What?" She repeated her order again, this time yelling it at me. Once she had finished yelling her order at me, she said, "That wasn't very polite of you." I was ticked at this lady majorly. I wasn't even quite sure what I did wrong.

Anyway, in other news, I might be getting Stellar Kart's new album today!!! Or tomorrow. But I hope I get it today. I've heard Innocent, Jesus Loves You and a few others and they all sound sooooo good I'm excited to get them.

And that's about it. OOO And I might be getting a cell phone this summer. YAY! I've already picked out the ringtone I'm gonna get cause I'm so excited. Awakening by Switchfoot. :)

Okay so that last post was messed up...

Yeah it posted a bunch of weird code and it's not like anyone in their right mind would take the time to read all that anyway.

Becka took a pic of me last night and she said in the pic, my face screamed "CHEESE." But she deleted it. Sorry!

YG is tonight. I'm so happy cause there hasn't been YG in forever! Now FINALLY SOME REALL worship!

Today.....................(jason) dunn dunn dunn..........Becka is gonna listen to Switchfoot. *GASP*

Yeah I made a deal with her. She'll listen to Lonely Nation by Switchfoot one time, if I listen to When did your heart go missing by Rooney one time. I've already heard part of the Rooney song. I don't think I like it, but I'm not sure.

Anyways, I'm hungry. I don't even know why I'm blogging right now. Probably just so there's a newer post than the crappy one.

Becoming Jane...more like becoming bored...

Ello mate.

Last night I saw Becoming Jane about the author Jane Austen who wrote Pride and Prejudice. I don't even like chick flicks seriously at all to begin with but I thought this might be one of those rare chick flicks I like cause it was based on a true story and all.

Oh dear, wow. That was the most boring, slow moving movie I ever watched! I thought it would be sorta like the movie Pride and Prejudice with Keira Khightly cause that one was sorta slow but it got better as it went along. This was just dull all the way through, then it ended. It ended with the song playing in the credits, "I just wasted two hours of your life." Okay, maybe it didn't. But I was singing that. Haha you gotta love Relient K.

In other topics, today I don't have school. It's awesome.

Also, thanks to the influence of Kathy and Jordan, I am considering starting to watch Lost. A lady in my church was like "You should! It's REALLY GOOD!" So I'm looking for a place to watch it/buy it on DVD. But not today. No, today is my day to crash.

Also, I finally watched the Live in the Ventura Theatre DVD yesterday. Oh my gravity, I gotta say that was way awesome x99999999999999999999999999. I watched it from start to finish, even my dad watched some of it. I think he's starting to become a Switchfoot fan. mwhahahahaha.

Happy Valentines Day!!!..............@ McDonalds

Yes so today is the holiday known as Valentine's Day. For me, I just did school and went to work.

At my job you meet many people. You meet awesome people which could be compared to a Premium Chicken Sandwich, then you meet the people who are...erm...one fry short of a Happy Meal if you know what I mean.

Today was okay though. The crack head dude like didn't talk to me at all which means today went well, because he's a real pain in the butt.

I got a huge craving to watch an Indiana Jones movie CAUSE I SAW THE COMMERCIAL FOR THE NEW ONE TODAY!!! It looks awesome, but I really wanna watch "The Last Crusade" again sometime soon.

As you can tell by the vibe of this post, I'm not a frequent celebrater of Valentine's Day. As I said on the Switchfoot boards, I would rather fry fish and watch a Bourne movie.

Speaking of Switchfoot, I am doing one thing in honor of the holiday. I'm listening to Switchfoot's cover of Beyonce's Crazy in Love.

I know what you're thinking. Switchfoot covering Beyonce?! Has the world come to an end?! No, it's actually really good. I am in awe of how Switchfoot can take such an annoying song and turn it into something awesome. You can find it on Youtube.

Oh one last thing. The Jonas Brothers released a new video today. Even if you're not a Jonas fan, you will enjoy this vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk1MANaha9k

LETS GETT to the point, let's get to this condition...

Gosh I love The Fold. The Fold like the band. *sigh* Google it if you don't know who they are.

So okay I'll tell you the amazing thing that happened yesterday. A long time ago I made this video on Youtube with two of my friends called "Really Bad Karaoke." Needless to say, I wasn't expecting all the mean comments I got saying, "You can't sing." or "Wow you should become a singer....NOT!" or "You suck." etc. So I decided to make a response to it proving I really could sing. I sang the chorus of New Skeptic by The Fold and YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED!

The flippin Fold left a comment on my video! From their official Youtube page! The comment said the word, "YES!" That's all it said. I'm asuming that means they liked it I suppose. Either way it made me happy.

Here's a screenshot of it:

Here's a link to the actual video:
So that was my uber awesome moment yesterday, which happened shortly after I pre-ordered Hawk Nelson's CD/DVD thingy from Family.

I'm a legal American citizen, so I got a Redbull!

Yesterday, I went to my friends Jordan and Angelia's birthday party. It was history themed, so they played "Who wants to be a legal American citizen?" There were 9 questions. If you got the first 3 right, you could pick a prize off the first table. 6 questions right, you could pick one off the second or first table. All of em right, you could pick off of any table, and the last table had a Redbull on it.

I was the first one to become a "legal American citizen." So I got my Redbull! I was so happy! I had to use all my lifelines though.

You see, I've never had a Redbull before, so I decided to wait till the Superbowl to drink it.

The Superbowl was awesome. I decided ahead of time I was gonna sit down and watch the game. The WHOLE game. And I did. I was the only girl my age that did. I felt really weird being surrounded by a bunch of 30-year-old men. haha

THE GIANTS WON! WOOT! It was awesome! This dude next to me was talking a lot of smack about the Giants so when they won I was like "OH IN YOUR FACE!"

Back to the Redbull. Again, my first time having one. It was creepy cause all these adults were telling me I was gonna pass out and die, or have to go to the hospital or something, so I got really worried. But I was fine, and for the record, Redbull tastes REALLY good!

In other news, I finally got Jon Foreman's Fall and Winter EP! It's so pretty. I love "Behind Your Eyes" on Winter.

Till next time,

I've been waking up at 4:12...

Yep it's true. Sorta.

I have to wear this rubberbands on my braces to straighten my bite or something, and they hurt like heck. I wear em only at night so last night I kept waking up due to pain. It wasn't cool.

Onto a happier topic, I might get off work this Saturday! I have to work out the bugs and talk to my manager tonight, but I might be able to pull it off. The only reason I am getting off work is to go to Angelia and Jordan's birthday party, but I would also enjoy very much not being on my feet for 8 hours like I normally am on a Saturday.

Yeah also, I'm going to see the Hannah Montana movie tuesday. Pray for me, seriously. I don't want to hurt anyone. I'm going to see the Jonas Brothers and not her, so pray that I don't boo at her really loud and get kicked out of the theater.

On an unhappy note, I couldn't find Jon Foreman's Fall and Winter EPs when I went to Wal-Mart last night, so I couldn't get them. Wonder how much they are on iTunes, hmm.....

And that's about it for what's going on in my life. Relient K needs to come back to NY or something and add some excitement into my life.

Matty T and Rosa did this, so I am too.

Best albums of 2007:

1. The Flame In All of Us - Thousand Foot Krutch
2. Jonas Brothers - Jonas Brothers
3. Cosmos - The Send
4. Secrets Keep You Sick - The Fold
5. Southern Weather - The Almost
6. Five Score and Seven Years Ago - Relient K
7. Portable Sounds - Tobymac

This year, I must say I've gotten more into music this year than last year, and possibly more than any other year in my life. The following albums are solely picked on my opinion, and not fact. The top choice is simply the top choice cause it was the one album that I litterally could not stop listening to. There is not one bad song on that album. Jonas Brothers secondly, cause their second release is most definitely a step-up from their first album. Cosmos, well let's just say I'm very happy Ryan convinced me to buy it. Thank you Ryan! The Send isn't very popular, but their music is definitely worth a listen. It's a CD I'll never get tired of. Secrets Keep You Sick I actually purchased on iTunes near the end of the year. But I loved it and I can't stop listening to it. Southern Weather (thanx rosa) is one word: awesome. Five Score is definitely showing more maturity in Relient K's style (hence less silly song) They're growing up. *tear* Portable Sounds is probably Tobymac's best work yet. Nuff said.

Personal Favs on each album:
1. New Drug and Inhuman
2. Australia
3. Begin and Need
4. Medicine and New Skeptic
5. Amazing Because It Is and Say this Sooner
6. Devastation and Reform
7. Feelin So Fly and Boomin

If you actually took the whole time to read all of this, thank you and comment.

One Thing Conference

Hey Guys!

Yeah, this blog entry is about the One Thing Conference. I know, Christmas happened and all but One Thing was a million bazillion times better than Christmas! Let me explain:

The Trip there:
So yeah, 24 hours. A lot of time to spend in a car my friend. But I had taken the long trip to KC before, but this time we had the youth pastors children with us. Which to you may sound like a bad thing, but you don’t know them. It actually made the ride shorter. We played 20 Questions with the little electronic thinger like a million times. We stumped it a few times. I still can’t believe we stumped it with Q-Tip! Lol

The Conference:
Yeah it was in this huge place called Bartle Hall. HUUUUUUUGE BUILDING! Like Football Stadium Big you may be thinking? No, no, my friend. Think bigger. MUCH Bigger! So anyways it was really big! Jason Upton, Misty Edwards, Luke Wood, Merchant Band, Justin Rizzo and Eddie James did the worship. Let me tell you, IT WAS AWESOME! I don’t know how I’m gonna go back to the PIPs tomorrow. There were a ton of speakers but Lou Engle was awesome. He goes, “Oh, I’ve only got 5 minutes left.” And I’m like “WHAT?! He’s been preaching a whole hour?! It feels like it’s only been a few minutes!” Yes my friend. It was that good. Oh another thing, you know how I said Bartle Hall was so huge? Imagine running across it 8 times. Yeah that was me. I was looking for a Coke Machine that wasn’t empty. I was running back and forth and all of them were empty cause there was a ton of people at the conference. The little food shops had them but they were $2.75 there! I finally bought a Dr. Pepper at a Hot Dog stand across the street. Then I was satisfied and happy.

The Call:
I’d heard about several Calls (like the one in Nashville for instance) for a long time, where you fast and pray the whole day, but I’d never been to one. In this case, The Call was on the 31st, so it was 12pm to 12am. I have to admit, at some points it got boring, but at other parts it was awesome. The last thing they had at The Call was Jason Upton leading us into the New Year. Jason Upton is usually really serious, so I was totally surprised when he broke out in two songs he wrote with his kids called “Where the Wild Things are” and “Yes Yes Yes.” Then all of a sudden it was 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! Then a few minutes later, we left. We begged our parents to take us to Cici’s Pizza, but they protested it wasn’t open. So much for that.

Other stuff:
While I was out there, I drank a lot of Dr. Pepper. Like WAY too much. I got kinda addicted to it. He he.

On the way back, I tried to sing a song with the state name of the state we were in currently. For example, we were in Ohio, so I started singing:

Ohio has the flavor of a watered chestnut
It’s not too crazy and it’s not the best but
We’re not setting forest fires just out of boredom
I’d rather see a movie if in fact I can afford one

Couldn’t think of one for Pennsylvania, till I was not in Pennsylvania. Then I thought of:

Walk down the streets of PA, and you may see her
Go up to her and say you’re a believer

Yes yes yes, both Relient K I know. But I love Relient K lots.

Also, we drove past some place called Fox Run Vineyards or somethings so I was like “GASP JON!!”

{pictures old English guy with eyepiece}

I’m sorry maam, but this elegantly arranged and private establishment has no association whatsoever with a Mr. Jonathan Steingard.

Hee hee.
