Hey guys, I haven't blogged in a while.
So yeah, you may have heard something like I won tickets to see Switchfoot on the Music Builds Tour, and yes, the rumors are true. Let me explain,...
Jesus Freak Hideout (www.jesusfreakhideout.com) currently has a contest up where they are giving away two free tickets for everyone of the remaining "Music Buids Tour" dates. So I entered the contest for the New Jersey date, thinking, "Oh yeah. I probably won't win. If I do, I'll find a way to get there." blah blah blah
Okay long story short, I won. I freaked out. And by some miracle, my dad agreed to drive me to New Jersey. I was sooooo excited, that is, until we got lost.
New Jersey has the smallest little street signs and a 5-way intersection like every two miles. We got so lost, I was freaking out to my mom on my cell and I was unsure at one point that we were gonna find this place period. Thankfully, I saw a small sign no bigger than one foot long that said "Box Office" and it pointed right. If I hadn't saw that, we probably would've missed part of the show.
We picked up our tickets at the Will-Call window, and to my surprise, we had seats inside the ampitheatre. This place was a lot like SPAC except smaller. It was a great view. We were right in the middle and everything.
As I went to the merch table, I saw something unusual. All this merch for the band "Red." And I'm thinking, "Weird. Red's not on the Music Builds Tour." Turns out, they were doing the pre-show, and my advice, DONT SEE THEM LIVE. EVER. Unless you're into screamo. It was awful. I held my ears.
Jars of Clay was, meh, decent. I'm not really a big JOC fan. Robert Randolph, incredible. In the middle of their set, everyone in their band got up and switched instruments. And all played with the same quality! They were soooo awesome!
Then the main event, for me anyway, Switchfoot. I swear, 80% of the crowd was just there for Switchfoot. A lot of people got up and left after their set. I felt bad for Third Day.
Switchfoot was beyond incredible live. This was their setlist:
Stars
Oh! Gravity
Crazy in Love/Gone
This Is Your life
American Dream
We Are One Tonight/ Shadow Proves the Sunshine
On Fire
Awakening
Dare You to Move
Meant to Live
(thanks www.landofbrokenhearts.com)
The ones where there's a slash means it's a mashup (in and out of both songs). It was so great, but wayyy too short. I mean come on, 10 songs?! Sheesh.
Third Day was up next, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. They put on a REALLY great show. Mac Powell was sooo funny too.
But anyway, I suppose the point of this blog is, don't go to New Jersey. Ever. It's not a very nice place.

Leona Lewis is....emo?!
Hey guys, haven't updated in forever. Yeah, but that's the way it normally is, huh?
School has started again, ugh. I have a World Literature Test to finish from last year, double ugh. Goodbye to Summer 2008. It was awesome, amazing, spifftacular (my new word, you like?), etc.
I went to Great Escape with the Snoopians. Well, actually, a lot of the Snoopians couldn't come, so it was just me, Becka, Jenson, Luke, John, Hannah, Sam L., and Lydia. It was still a wicked good time though. I conquered my fear of rollercoasters. Never knew I had a fear of rollercoasters? Well, I'll tell you the story...
*flash back mode* jk
When I was 8, I went on a rollercoaster at Worlds of Fun called The Orient Express *thunder*. I remember being so excited I was finally 48 inches tall and I could ride it. Long story short, it traumatized me for life.
*back to real life*
So John was like "Come on! You have to conquer your fears! Once you go on one, you'll love it, then you'll wanna go on another, and another,...." I was like "Yeah right." I figured I'd go on the Comet to say I conquered my fear and that was it. No Steaming....Donut, No Boomerang, and absolutely NO TORNADO! That was one ride I looked at pictures of and was like No way.
Long story short, heres my ride tally:
Comet: 3 times
Steaming...Donut: 2 times
Boomerang: 2 times
Mega Wedgie: 1 time (it was dumb)
Tornado:.....7 TIMES
Yeah the one ride I said I wouldn't go on I went on 7 times. Who knew, John was right.
Oh yeah, and the reason for the title of this blog. While Sam and Lydia were in the bathroom, "Bleeding Love" came on, and John started mocking singing it while pretending to cut his wrists. It was really funny.
Yeah well, a lot more happened, but it would take waaaay too much space to list it all.

Wow I think I'm getting lazy...
Here I am again, after 3 very short months of summer vacation, I'm back at school, er home.
Algebra II is still no picnic but in the least bit, or maybe in a subtle sense, I'm almost enjoying it. Maybe this is something one of my smart friends have rubbed off on me. If so, thank you. It is helping me survive math.
Snoopy!!! is still over and to be honest, I thought I'd be over it by now. Everytime a song off the Snoopy!!! soundtrack comes up on my iPod, I almost cry. It's so sad. And yes I do have musical songs on my iPod. There is nothing wrong with that.
Tomorrow is the eventful Great Escape day, and I *deep breath* am going on a rollercoaster. I have very afraid of rollercoasters ever since I first went on one I was 7 (or 8 I don't remember) and it traumatized me. John called me the other day and was like "Come on, it's TOO MUCH FUNN! You HAVE to go on a rollercoaster!" So if all else fails, he'll probably make me. Him, Luke and Jenson. Yes don't you feel sorry for me now.
I really like that ship that swings back and forth. I love the rush you feel as you surge down toward the ground if you're on the VERY end of the boat you're practically hanging upside-down! And yet I hate rollercoasters. Go Figure!

Lots of stuff...wow
HEY PEEPS! I'm finally back from ATC. Since it would take an entire novel to tell all that happened, I will summerize it in three songs.
Track 1: Awakening - Switchfoot
Track 2: Baptize My Mind - Jon Foreman
Track 3: Burn Out Bright - Switchfoot
Go listen to those three songs and you'll be pretty much informed. :)
Another thing, offering works. Period. I have proof. Here's my story.
I started giving a bunch of offering at ATC and I was like, "Okay I'm gonna believe for God to bless me." So what did he do?
Get me lots of money? Nope.
Get me a ticket to Soulfest? Not exactly.
He put in the mind of Relient K's tour manager to say, "Yeah you should go to Albany, NY on your tour."
So yeah, Relient K is coming here. I bought tix last night. I'm mad excited. For deets if you wanna go with me, ask about it! I will email you deets.
Btw, if you're under 16 you can't go. :(
Sorry, Northern Lights rules.

It's been so long...since I last blogged.
Hey peeps! As you know, last Monday was my birthday. The party was sooo much fun, and I'm very glad cause I was mad scared basically the night before that it would flop. Mom and Dad surprised me by getting local cover band "In Theaters Everywhere" to come and perform at my party. It was amazing. Their setlist was:
(not in right order)
Chaos - MuteMath
Find Me Tonight - Everyday Sunday
Never Going Back to Ok - The Afters
Amazing Because it is - The Almost (oh yes rosa and kathy it was amazing)
We Need Each Other - Sanctus Real
Crazy Beautiful - Chasen
Whatever You're Doing - Sanctus Real
It was bunchies of fun. I knew every single song besides the MuteMath one. Which then prompted John to say, "I bow to your smarticalness oh music guru." lol
The whipped cream toss was also awesome, even though everyone went home smelling like cheese. It was still amazing though.
And as some of you know, *sob* I'm leaving tonight/early tomorrow morning for Awakening Teen Camp in Missouri. I will be gone for 5 weeks! Be sure to email me at awakening@ihop.org! Just put my full name (no middle name, unless you want to, it's Christine) in the subject line. I will miss you all dearly.
Random other fact, I got a Nancy Drew computer game. It's sooo awesome and the graphics are killer, but I seem to have trouble figuring it out though. Now I'm working on putting all the dolls ing the right order for their enitials(sp?) to spell out "Chaussettes Chatoyantes." Yeah it's difficult. Especially when you don't know the doll's names!
Oh well. I'll figure it out.

Sam's Grad Party, Leavin soon, and DOD!!!!
Hey Peeps!
Recently I went to Sam's Grad Party! Well, it wasn't just Sam's Grad Party. It was Serene's and Breeana's also, but I don't talk to them that much. It was awesome because we got to carpool with the Bossalini's again! They are so much fun! We talked about um......Fred, and.......wow the subject changed many times. It was quite random but it is alright because we just have many thoughts. It's good for the brain.
We went swimming in 65 degree water. In case you don't know, that's mad cold. Once you got out of the water, your legs were litterally numb. Scary stuff, but we had basically the best splash fight ever. Sorry to anyone who missed out on it. (No offence to her, but Becka was sooooo fun to splash cause everytime you splashed her she made noises like "AHH!" "OOO!" "OHH!" lol it was astounding)
And I LEARNED HOW TO SKIP STONES!!!!! It was astounding. I don't remember if I taught myself or if John or Luke showed me. Either way, I finally figured it out and it was astounding. Cept for the fact John kept stealing my rocks. :P
Yep, and sadly yes, I'm leaving soon for Kansas City MO, but DONT LISTEN TO MY SIS! SHE IS A LIAR WHEN SHE SAYS KC HAS NOTHING GOOD! I could give you a list of a ton of good things KC, MO has!
Gates BBQ
The International House of Prayer (duh)
All the good bands come there....
Steak and Shake
BBQ in general
Steak
Fried Chicken
Church's Chicken
BBQ
Some of our extended fam lives out there
BBQ
Science City (such a fun place!)
Did I mention BBQ?
So yeah. It'll be a good time, but I will miss y'all! (yes I just said y'all burn)
AND for all of you who have been wondering what the heck DOD stands for this whole blog, it stands for Dance or Die EP - Family Force 5 released yesterday! WOOOT! Two words: Buy it.

Prom and Prince Caspian (fun times)
Hey peeps! I'm back from prom. It was sooooooooooo much funn! The food was really good and besides the fact my dress began to malfunction a little near the end of prom, it was an awesome time. Note to the Future though: when they say put a celebrity name on a sticky note, don't put Soul Glow Activatur. Because like no one knew who he was. haha (rosa and kathy both know though lol)
THENNNNNNNN I went and saw Prince Caspian with Lydia, her friends Margret and Geoff, Jennifer, Jenson, Jeff, and.......*groans loudly*.......Hannah.
Okay I just need to vent for a sec. You don't have to read this upcoming paragraph.
Omigoodness Hannah is so loud and obnoxious! She is one of the most annoying people I've ever met! She will NEVER shut up! She's in love with Jenson and is EXTRA loud and obnoxious around him. AND the only reason she was even there is cause she invited herself. I mean, how rude can you get?! And she thinks she's like the hottest thing on the face of the earth, it's just ridiculous.
I could go on, but I should stop.
Before the movie we went into this Chinese Store cause.......I don't know....Cause Jenson and Geoff wanted to look at the swords or something. Anyway, Hannah was being sooooo loud, I was like "Dude stop or some Chinese people are probably gonna jump out of the walls with swords and attack us!" *cue Jenson laughing histarically* Because Jenson laughed, Hannah laughed with much gusto. Oh how she is ever so taxing on my sanity.
The movie itself was amazing though. Except for the thing between Caspian and Susan, I mean COME ON! That's NOT supposed to happen! Margret even told me in the books Prince Caspian is like 14. Dude in this movie he looked, 25. I mean it shouldn't work. Cause Susan is like 1300 years older. haha
And yes, the Switchfoot song. It was a different version than the one of the soundtrack and the one on Air 1. The members of the Switchfoot Message Boards have concluded there are 3 different versions. But I don't care, it's still Switchfoot.
Peace out "amigo-gos."
